2018 Cap & Gown Senior Session - Sheyenne

Updated: Jan 7, 2020

I was very honored that Sheyenne asked me to take her photos for the second time! I met Sheyenne last summer when I took her senior photos and she was one of my senior reps. This time around we did a cap and gown session which was so fun!

We started the session at Trinity Park, where the prettiest rainbow was coming out of the water fountain. I wanted to get a shot in front of it right at the start but in doing so we were almost attacked by hungry ducks and geese. One most definitely tried to eat her brothers' pant leg!! Attacked might be a bit of a strong word to describe it, but if you know me at all, you'd know I am slightly terrified if ducks or geese or any kind of bird starts coming at me! 😬 We moved right along after that and were never bothered again!

We ended the session in the neatest area on 7th St. We ventured around a couple blocks and found some pretty cool spots for photos! I can't believe it was the first time I had been there but I will definitely be going back in the future!

Sheyenne was a trooper through the whole evening. It was 100 degrees when we started and I know that her gown was not the coolest thing to be wearing! She never once complained and smiled the whole time!

Thank you again Sheyenne for allowing me to be your photographer during your senior year. I wish you all the best this summer and in the fall at UTA. I know you are going to love it and do so great!

I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites!
